Service Officer Assistance
Veterans, if you have a service-connected condition, you should have a VA claim filed.
Connect with our Service Officer to start the conversation.  As new changes in laws and presumptives are in favor of the Veteran, the opportunity is now to file or review and update a VA claim.
If you would like to talk with a Service Officer, you can make an appointment by calling 425-221-2503  and a Service Officer will contact you.

The American Legion was chartered by Congress in 1919 as a patriotic Veterans organization.  Focusing on service to veterans, service members, and communities, the Legion evolved from a group of war-weary Veterans of World War I into one of the most influential nonprofit groups in the United States.  Membership swiftly grew to over 1 million, and local posts sprang up across the country.  Today, membership stands at nearly 2 million in more than 13,000 posts worldwide.  

Renton -  Pickering Post 79 hosts membership meetings on the 2nd Thursday of each month beginning at 1900 hrs.(7 pm).  Meetings are optional and you’ll always be kept informed of Post business as meeting minutes and newsletters are sent monthly.

Since our charter in (1922), our American Legion Post has been welcoming VETERANS from all branches of our Armed Forces. Today, we continue to welcome all military personnel serving our country. Joining our Post enables you to continue serving your God, Country, and Community. Our mission is to implement the goals, aspirations, dreams, peace, and blessings for our country, friends, and families embodied in our preamble below.
